Brief de Design de Logo
Dear Creative Minds on DesignCrowd, we are a bunch of dedicated outdoor enthusiasts and the initiators behind a new tourism experience in the Clare Valley (wine region in South Australia) called the CLARE VALLEY WILDERNESS & WINE TRAIL - for which we need a logo design. The trail is a recreational walking/hiking/cycling trail, a 100km in total distance, around the Clare Valley, open to visitors and locals alike, free to use. The logo design will appear first and foremost on trail markers (physical), maps (print & digital) and website. While it can have multiple colors, a 1-color version for ease of printing would be preferable. It would be natural to assume that eventually the trail gets called WWT (e.g. Pacific Crest Trail = PCT), or Appalachian Trail = AT) but this could be a second/or subversion of the initial logo. Key symbolic elements would be wine, valley, grapes, vineyards, wilderness, off-the-beaten-path, trail. There is another recreational trail in the Clare Valley, called the Riesling Trail, which is an old railway line converted to a multipurpose trail. The two trails need to be clearly separated and have nothing to do with each other. Furthermore there is also a long-distance Mountain Bike trail cutting through the valley, called the Mawson Trail, which we also have no association with.
Given that the trail will mostly lead through typical South Australian bushland, the logo could feature local wildlife elements such as a Kangaroo, Kookaburra and Echidna.
