Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a ranch we will be developing into 1 acre+ homesites. The development will be called George's Ranch after the original owner George Wilkins Kendall. The ranch is located in the Texas hill country town of Boerne in Kendall County, which is named after George. The logo could use the “Est. 1856” in it. Could utilize a star. We originally were going to use the attached, but not sure about using the picture of George. Could still use the picture of George but with another spin on it. Our most recent developments in Texas are Esperanza in Boerne, Crystal Falls in Leander, and ClearWater Ranch in Liberty Hill.
