Brief de Design de Logo

Looking for a new logo. I provide presentations on suicide prevention, mental health/awareness to community groups and teach negotiations to law enforcement. Colors should be purple and teal (suicide awareness and prevention), see attached ribbon. My old logo is attached. Photo of me negotiating attached also (on the Golden Gate Bridge). The design should communicate a connection between people or attempting to connect. I've been told the bridge does not have meaning to most people.
