Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for my husbands new company call Merchant Hub. He jotted down shapes colours etc that could be incorporated along with a scketch that he is not really that happy with but its a direction and then the font logo we are currently using until we do get a logo design which I quite like on its own. My husband prefers a pictorial and font based logo.
