Brief de Design de Logo

Need a logo for a new website entitled “Lands of the Bible”. The website is an educational site for students of theology and anyone seeking to visit and explore Israel, the land of the Bible. The site aims to take readers/subscribers on a journey to discover the Holy Land with images, videos, articles, maps, travel tips etc.

I want the logo to somehow reflect what the website is about, so nothing overly abstract. Ideally, the logo should capture the title and aim of the site. Graphic might include, fields, mountains, or some feature of a Middle East landscape. Another possibility is an outline map of Israel as a basis showing the two lakes. We do NOT want a cross in the logo. Inclusion of a Bible or book may work, if there is a way to combine Lands and Bible In some way. Avoid overly complicated designs.

Finally, I will need monochrome versions for several purposes, so while I need the logo to have colour, monochrome versions should still be able to capture the essence of the colored version.
