Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo that evokes an asian traditional design juxtaposed with a modern institutional look. This logo will be for a small hotel in a British heritage building. Despite the modern amenities expected of a contemporary hotel the logo needs to reflect an old world charm. We would like to see an additional design that touches upon the traditional buddhist lions as depicted in the attachment (variance in colors may be used). The color scheme should be a variation of gold and black, gold and dark blue, gold and velvet blue, and gold and white for both the lion image and illustration. The final design should arouse a post colonial splendor and traditional hospitality. The design should make one feel secure, welcome, tranquil, and prosperous. • The lion does not have to be very big. It may include two Burmese/Myanmar lions, but one is preferable. The pictorial may even be a silhouette, and may include some color variations.

• The design pictorial should not include any aspects of the western style lion (ex. British, Norwegian, etc.).
