Brief de Web Design

I'm an independent software contractor, architect, tech trainer. I need a web site to present myself. Many ready to use portfolio designs are too artistic and focused on presenting design skills of the person. I like a nice website but the content should be a little less graphic than if you would present a graphic designer. Content could be presentation of me, core skill qualities and services and resume. Potentially a page with my tech courses in the longer run
