dear , owner of the contest, low ratings - one and two stars only demotivate designers to participate with new projects. Because low ratings lead the designer's rating to a crash. If you do not like a design, you better eliminate it without putting one or two stars. Thank you for your understanding. regards

Thank you for the insight. We were not aware that ratings to submissions affect your overall professional rating. We were only trying to provide specific feedback on the design itself and its relevancy to our current contest. All of the designs we have received are well designed, just some are too basic and/or lack enough forethought and/or creativity to meet our needs. Marking a design for elimination still prompts us to add a star rating and to provide feedback about why a design was eliminated so I will investigate further how to mark things for elimination from contention without providing a star rating.
