Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company based in West Virginia named 'Alwin Home Inspection LLC'. I would like to use blue, grey, and white as colors. Items I could see possibly being incorporated into the logo would include a magnifying glass, clipboard, and/or a house. (Roofline or other) The design does not require these items. Just thoughts I had. I was thinking I would also like if the design was maybe two parts that together form the main logo. However, one of the parts could be broken off to use for smaller logos, such as for the favicon.
