Brief de Web Design
Stratos is an Internet Service Provider bringing high-speed service to homes and businesses. Our principal market target is rural areas of West Michigan, but we intend to expand rapidly. We need a website to market our services, facilitate online ordering, customer support and communicate with our customers.
I will upload a draft outline of the content we hope to include in the website.
We compete directly with Charter Communications, Verizon, Comcast and Frontier communications to bring Internet service to homes and businesses in our coverage area.
Our primary values include:
1. Unlike our competitors, we do not require long term contractors or service bundles; There are no termination fees, for example. All services are sold on a recurring 1-month agreement term.
2. Unlike other wireless (mobile) providers, we do not limit downloads or uploads with bit/byte buckets
3. We provide service to areas ignored by the larger carriers - Rural areas in Michigan that lack options for broadband are prime targets for Stratos to cover.
4. Unlike other wireless ISP's, we utilize licensed FCC spectrum. We do not use unlicensed/free frequencies, providing us an advantage for reliability and stability.

Our target market is home Internet users. however, that does not mean that our users are "high tech" oriented - they are just normal mom's and pop's who buy Internet for home use. The site should be easy to navigate and communicate our message of speed, value, reliability and facilitate simple product ordering.
