Brief de Design de Couverture de Livre

The image I have in mind is a man holding a rifle in one hand, and the hand of a 10-year old girl in the other, facing away to a distant city landscape or naval harbour where either something ominous is in the sky, or else fire-trails are descending from the clouds. The two characters are central in the story, and are on the run from an alien invasion.

The title the book is ‘When the children come’
The only other info I’d like on the cover is the author name, Barry Kirwan.
I’ll be publishing both ebook and paperback versions so will also need a wraparound cover for the paperback.
On the back cover there will be the usual blurbs etc.
I'll be using the KDP platform for publishing both ebook and paperback.
In terms of mood, the start of the book has already been compared to the movie Birdbox, and it begins in modern day Manhattan when kids start disappearing on New Year’s Day. So, tension, a bit of fear. By the end of the book there is an alien invasion, hence a hint of something other-worldy would be useful, though it can be mysterious so it doesn’t give too much away. Typical KDP categories I’ll be using are dystopian, end of world.
I’ve published 4 science fiction books before, but they are a different niche in scifi (space opera). This book is the first of three, so I’ll be looking for more designs over time.
