Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for my private label eye wear. The name is "Willow + Cricket" which are the names of my two Australian Shepherds. The frames are contemporary but not too trendy. I think something fun and or whimsical would be the feel I am looking for. The frame company mocked up a couple of designs but I was not crazy about them. I have attached their mock up (without the artwork) so you can see where the logo will be placed on the frames. The temple will be laser etched and needs to be fairly simple (text only). I have also attached a photo of the pups but a general likeness in caricature is what I am after. Maybe the dogs wearing glasses?
