Brief de Design de Logo

My company conducts intrusive investigation of the subsoil to determine composition and density of the ground beneath an area that is to be developed.

We use hand tools (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer, hand auger) to sample and measure the density of soil from the surface to 4m.

I was thinking perhaps some sort of air/earth interface in the logo to indicate that we penetrate the soil.

The company is called Subterra, but I would not mind if the words "Geotechnical Investigation" were also in the design, but only if it fits in with the logo - this is not essential.

• An air/earth interface depicted. Possibly with the silhouette of a DCP pushing through into the ground.
  
  I have attached a picture of a DCP. The anvil (left) screws on top of the rods (right) and hammers it into the ground to measure density. Please ask questions if necessary.
  
  If this is too clumsy, don't worry about it, it's just a suggestion. :)
