Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo designed for the face of my new real estate company. I run multiple rental properties(apartment buildings) and provide comfortable homes for many people that can't afford to buy a home.

This logo will be used for letter heads, all paperwork, signs on properties, clothing and so on. It needs to be simple, clean, crisp, high quality, original and easy for people to see. I am not sure if I am sure on a color scheme as I do not know the imagine the company will take. I am open to anything as long as it's not overloaded with a ton of colors.

I've uploaded some logo's that I personally enjoy looking at, that I can see being similar style to the company I am building.

Doit avoir

• Must have "North Built Properties" on the logo.
  
  Our slogan is "creating homes"
  
  The slogan can be in the logo but it would be nice if it was optional to redue clutter on certain items.

Bien d'avoir

• I think it would be best to stick to 2-3 colors max. Something that doesn't rely on color and still looks good if printed in greyscale/black&white.
  
  Possible implimentation of trees, compass or arrows pointing north.

Ne doit pas comporter

• Not looking for the typical "name under a house roof" look. I am more concerned about originality and attractiveness than another typical house logo.
  
  We do not have mountains where we live. We also do not want to appear as a building/construction company.
