Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new Logo for a Mechanical company in Calgary. We specialize in plumbing, hvac, boiler work etc. The attached photos are for inspiration and example purposes, with the exception of our current logo. We have to choose new branding colours as well, but this logo and colour scheme will be going on a white backdrop (vans, letterhead, etc) for the most part.

• We're thinking of something with gears, but we're not sold on the concept. Whatever comes to mind. This logo will be printed on multiple things, vehicles, uniforms, business cards etc. We want something memorable. For font we were thinking Copperplate Gothic bold, but we weren't sold on the font choice. We just think it looks modern. As you can tell from our current logo, it is dated.
