Brief de Design de Logo

To design a logo, branding, and design language/corporate identity for a networking equipment reseller.

The business is called NetStack Builder (sometimes written as NetStack Builder.ca)
Selling networking equipment to enthusiasts and small/medium businesses.

We're looking for a logo that mainly focuses on the name itself, maybe with glyph/logo for the "N" or just a glyph/logo preceding the "N". Something that can be iconic. However we're open to other suggestions as well.

Elegance and simplicity is the goal. A design that can be used for a long time without appearing dated, and ideally somehow incorporating a network rack theme (even if it's very subtle and vague) into the logo.
It would be nice if the logo paid homage to our enthusiast / small medium business customer base, as well as signaling growth or "up and to the right"/forward movement.

Pictures have been included to get a sense of the theme and colours. (Think LED Red Green Blue and Yellow, refer to the photo of the server rack in the dark for an idea of what we're looking for.)
Geometric shapes are also appreciated.

3-5 colours max, and can be easily converted to B&W for print or on letterhead, or be animated for video content. No complex gradients. Preferably a flat design aesthetic, however simple gradients will also be considered. No drop shadows.

Feel free to not be constrained by these descriptions, if they are going to limit the quality of the product. Quality and aesthetic of the logo is number one.

I've included two images with examples of acceptable and unacceptable logo designs. Please use them as guides.
