Brief de Design de Logo

Our Not-for-profit Foundation is looking to brand ourselves with a new and updated logo. Currently we do not have a logo in place and use our foundation title "The Dominic L. Passantino Memorial Foundation" as our "logo". Here is some background on our foundation and our mission...

Dominic L. Passantino (19 yrs old) tragically passed away on May 8, 1999 in a fire at the Sigma Chi house at the University of Missouri. He left behind a very loving family and many, many friends. Dominic could light up the room and was a friend to everyone he came in contact with. To carry on Dominic’s memory, the Passantino family organized a memorial golf tournament and partnered with Children’s Mercy Hospital’s Burn & Trauma Unit with the goal of helping kids recover from severe burns.

Our charitable mission is to increase awareness of fire-related injuries and deaths of children, and to support those victims and their families, with the goal of reducing these types of injuries and deaths in the future.

Background info on Dominic (for logo inspiration):
-Outgoing, energetic, full of life, everybodys friend.
-Grew up/lived his entire life in Missouri, attended University of Missouri
-Catholic, was very involved in his Catholic HS, Rockhurst (an all boys prep school). -His older brother began the foundation ("brotherhood" is a common theme with those who knew him)
-Biggest fundraiser for the foundation is the annual golf tournament

We are open to any and all types of design logos - looking for something that can be easily used on marketing material, website, apparel, etc. Hoping that the logo can easily identify the foundation, and if it's possible somehow grasp Dominic's spirit.
