Brief de Design de Logo

We have blended our 10 year old hvac company with this established in 1979 Refrigeration company that has a very old look, so we are looking need a retro yet refreshed logo. Attached is our current bear and a drawing I made of what I'd like to see. We love the retro look of "cranky bear" but need sophistication like" new year bear." Brick red and deep mustard, and perhaps blue ...our vehicles are black. We like Fonts with serifs. Generally rectangular in shape as the words are long & need to be legible. A to Z Refrigeration & HVAC
