Brief de Design de Logo

Worknlearn is a 'back to school' stationery supplier looking for a new logo. We purchased the business from its existing owner 9 months ago and are looking to update the brand.
At the start of each school year parents are provided with a list of stationery and text book items they must provide for their children, by their school. The parents can choose to visit a miriad of shops to try and find each of the items on the list, OR they can shop online with Worknlearn, where we will provide all of their items in a single box delivered to their door. We like to think of it as 'Back to School Simplified'.
The products we supply include text books, exercise books, pens, paper, erasers, crayons, highlighters, school bags, etc. We only use quality branded products from suppliers like Staedtler and Faber Castell, at competitive prices.
Our current market is just the local schools around us in the sunshine coast, queensland - although we see an opportunity to expand this.

The logo will not only appear on our website, but will also appear on our own delivery vehicle(s) so we feel some complimentary contrasting colour combinations like Blue and Orange will work well.
The image needs to work for two particular audiences. The first is the parent who will end up purchasing the products from us, and the second is the school. We need to convince the schools that we would make a good partner, so they can promote us. This rules out any cartoon style of logo as we still have to maintain a fairly professional image for the school, and in some instances the school co-brands the list they give the parent with our details. The parent is however possibly interested in a more fun/catchy design.
We are not tied to any particular design element on our existing logo.
