Well for starters you can tell us the size of these icons.
Then you can share some screenshots from app, so designers can match the style.

Gotta ask, is this budget for the 16 sample designs?

Essentially, yes. We had envisioned having designers showing us a handful of icons, and then once we chose the designer, talk with them about what the budget would be to do the full set. This is only the second project I have posted on DesignCrowd though, so open to feedback! Maybe we are doing it backwards, and should increase the budget to be for the full project first, instead of after the designs are in?

Our intention was to not waste many designers' time by asking them to create a huge set of icons when we would only be choosing one winner. But I can see how the budget likely doesn't make sense to designers so we will have to take a look at that later today, along with increasing the clarity of the description for the project as well.
