Brief de Design de Logo

I am in need of a cool logo for a future flight school. The name of the school is Apollo Aviation, the name Apollo was selected because of the significance of the Apollo space program. I like the idea of a logo that could be turned into a patch for pilots, similar to NASA'S Apollo mission patches. I would prefer that the logo not be overly cluttered, but I do appreciate and respect your creative freedom, so no ideas are bad.

The type of aircraft we will start with is called a Cessna 172N.

Attached are images of the Apollo mission patch's as well as pictures of the type of airplane we will be starting with (Note: The attached pictures are not our actual aircraft, they were simply found in google).
