Brief de Design de Logo

Would like to change my logo on my 5 th year anniversary of starting a small animal veterinary practice start up. For now I only see dog and cats. I would like dogs and cats be reflected on the logo. My current logo is attached below with colors I have been using currently. I would like to us a new modern colors for the new logo. My website address is: uppermarlboropets.com.

• I have a road side sign post, picture attached below. I Would like the logo to be seen by drivers easily. I don't think the phone number and website address necessary on the logo.
  My road side sign is my cheapest marketing, so I will select combination of colors that can be easily seen by peoples in a driving by cars. I think Meta Bold Fonts can be seen easily. VETERINARY HOSPITAL, set in all caps and placed directly beneath Upper Marlboro, clearly identifies what Upper Marlboro is.
