Brief de Design Emballage

Background of this project:

Started as a pioneer in the cultivation of organic macadamia nuts with small farmers, LIMBUA is now a leading global organic macadamia producer. The German-Kenyan company sees itself as a link between more than 5,000 small farmers in Africa and demanding quality customers around the world. A high level of technology enables direct support and promotion of small farmers and an effective refinement of macadamia nuts and other products on the organic mixed farms of the farmers. LIMBUA operates three modern, decentralized production facilities and a tree nursery in the immediate vicinity of the small farmers at the foot of Mount Kenya. It has been pursuing a unique, holistic philosophy since it was founded.

Next we want to offer our macadamia nuts to end consumers. The first stage are products for our online shop, the second stage is the food retail trade.

We chose the packaging variant of a sustainable round membrane can without aluminum membrane (probably) for 200 grams of macadamia nuts. The can should also be an attractive gift, can be placed directly on the table as a snack bowl and fits in a bottle holder (these are not design issues, however).

We are looking for a convincing, appealing design for the cans, which can then be printed on the cans.

Our thoughts on design:

- The design should represent the high quality of our macadamia nuts

- Our values should be communicated (organic, sustainable, healthy, personable)

- The design should be able to be used for several sizes of cans, if there will be larger and / or smaller cans in the future

- At the same time, it should not look as boring and simple as other organic products, but stand out clearly

- The design should be rather striking, extraordinary, as funky / funky as possible, but should still look professional.

- The can design must be black

- Of course, the Limbua logo should be included in the overall design (but that doesn't necessarily have to be dominant)

- The cans should have a recognition effect: "Ah, Limbua are the ones with these black cans" Our products should stand out as already written and should stand out from the competition if possible. (You can search for organic macadamia nuts on Amazon, for example)

- Maybe African origin expressed by the design (not a must)

Update 1:
We have a lot of high quality proposals, thank you guys. But I extended the deadline because still something special is missing. We want it really to be striking and extraordinary, it should "jump at you" when you see it.

Update 2:
Diameter of the can will probably be 7.3 cm, which means the scope is 22.9 cm and the heigh is around 10 - 11 cm

Update 3:
Guys we decided that we want a BLACK Can which looks noble and high quality, but is striking as well. Can be combined with Silver, Metalic etc. But Black is the main color and that will be the final requirement
