Brief de Design de Logo

I'm having custom dumbbells made and want a classy logo with my name (McGrath) on them. Note that the dumbbells are black urethane and will have the weight written in white (see attached picture of dumbbells), and that my gym also has dark reds in it (as used by Rogue Fitness and the Keiser m3i+ bicycle - I've attached pictures of each for reference). Logo should incorporate similar colours, and fonts that don't clash with the numbers shown on the dumbbells.<br/><br/>I do not want anything too complex. Simple and a bit timeless is the style I would like to achieve. <br/><br/>I've attached two designs I like - one with a cute but classy dog (we're definitely a Labrador family) and the other with a barbell shaped into the letter W (we could do the same with an M). Obviously one is cuter and the other is more aggressive - a well-made logo in either style will work.

• This logo must look good on the surface of a dumbbell (which has round edges - so something square, for example, would not be ideal).

• Optionally, if it can be a bit aggressive, that might be nice (not sure). Something that motivates me to lift heavy, to not give up...

Ne doit pas comporter

• I do not envision a logo with a graphic to one side and text on the other - they should be more or less aligned in the middle, because the dumbbells will rotate frequently.
