Brief de Design Application

We need an icon design for an app titled Winedouche. The app is an entertainment oriented app for iPhone and Android devices. It generates wine tasting notes.

The icon should be something that will show well as a thumbnail, and also convey the fun aspect of this app, along with the concept of a bit of snootiness, or looking down on someone (the douche part of wine douche). Imagine a French sommelier talking to someone about wine.

Initial ideas are a line drawing profile of a snooty-looking wine guy, perhaps with a monocle or a bow tie. Other thoughts were a stylized nose (for sniffing the wine) or even just a logo.

We are open to new ideas as well as creation of the ideas above.
