Brief de Design Illustration
Create an original black & white illustration, drawing or watercolor painting to be used as interior art for the book, "Wake Up Curious." The artwork should creatively express the idea, “Wake Up Curious,” which is the title of the book. I have attached the book cover art for reference.<br/><br/>The artwork does NOT need to emulate the cover art style, design, etc. We are looking for something that just feels right. Again, that could be in the style of illustration, drawing or watercolor painting. However, the artwork MUST BE black & white since we are not printing color in the interior of the book. So if watercolor, it would essentially need to done in black & white or converted to black & white for publication.<br/><br/>We also need a second piece of art that interprets a rough graphic that we created for "The Wacuri Method." I have attached that rough graphic for reference. To be clear, this job is for a single piece of art that expresses the idea “Wake Up Curious," including and associated IP rights. The job for the second piece of art will be awarded to the winner of the design contest for the first piece in a one-on-one transaction in order to ensure consistent style as both pieces will be used in the same book.<br/><br/>Finally, I have attached a PDF of the Introduction of the book in the event you would like to better understand the story for creative inspiration. Below you will find a quick summary, for reference, in the event you do not have time to read the full Introduction:<br/><br/>"The main topics of the book include the biofield, flow state, energetic transmission, non-local consciousness, neuroscience, existential loneliness, belonging, curiosity, and The Wacuri Method of social meditation."
