My name is Amit J Thapa, Founder and CEO of @Global Talent Agency.
(We believe, a better world is a closer one. We exist to find and connect highly skilled global talents with great local businesses.)
My interest in International movement of people began long before creating, @Global Talent Agency.
Having being born and raised in a small village in the Nepali Himalayas and subsequently migrating across different continents to pursue a better life has meant, I have a deep affinity, appreciation and interest in connecting the dots between people, business and communities across a range of complex culturally diverse environments.
Building upon my successful corporate career across a breadth of industries, including the financial services, insurance, retail and non-for-profit sectors, in executive leadership and Human Resources leadership positions across Asia & Pacific.
This was a strong foundation for the pathway which led me to where I am today.
Together with negotiating and finding my own way through complex visa processes, pursuing a University degree, and subsequently breaking through the corporate world, and a cross-cultural marriage means I have a deep understanding of what Individuals and businesses need from an International Talent Acquisition partner.
I established Global Talent Agency to meet the emerging gap I saw in the market - an Australian International Talent Firm that was able to purposefully, Identify, attract and connect highly skilled global talents and connect them with great local businesses struggling to find them in a collaborative, committed "people centric" yet commercially oriented, Innovative way together In partnership with our clients.
It became obvious to me, both talented Individuals and progressive innovative businesses were missing out. It seemed the benefits of clever well planned and executed International Recruitment strategy weren’t explained to anyone in ways they could understand and use them.
And so @ Global Talent Agency was created.
We believe, a better world is a closer one. We exist to find and connect highly skilled global talents with local businesses.
