Brief de Design de Logo
SHP Coatings LLC develops and applies waterproof coating solutions for a variety of industrial and residential applications. SHP stands for Superhydrophobic or SHP for short ... These surfaces are found in nature as in the leaf of a Lotus Flower. Due to recent developments in Nano Technology, this surface quality can be mimicked to produce water repellent surfaces on a variety of substrates. We are an innovative, cutting edge company leading the way in this new technology and are very excited about bringing these products to market. The Logo is intended to represent this SHP phenomenon ...which is defined as the angle created by a drop of water on a surface ... in lay terms, the closer a drop of water is to a complete circle on a treated surface, the more hydrophobic the surface is ...Superhydrophobic surfaces repel water so well that drops of water actually bounce off these surfaces ...which is sort of represented in the draft design...i.e. bouncing droplets of water. I am indifferent about the font and colors but not unhappy with the look of the draft version, am hoping for very realistic looking drop of water representing the O in coatings ,,,and varying color of smaller drops may add the perception of depth ... The tagline "Waterproof your world" should be included under our Logo, SHP Coatings LLC. see uploaded example
Google Superhydophobic or Lotus effect to learn more about these surfaces and perhaps for more inspiration. ... I like the work done so far on our logo. Just need it cleaned up and refined a bit ... Thanks for your interest and for your kind support.

Thank you all for your hard work. This is my first interaction with Design Crowd and I am so impressed with all of the submissions and with your creativity. I wish I could share all submissions with you and I hope that I have that option when complete ... I assume I can. The water feature is very important and you all have done a great job including that in your art. I will be looking at all submissions this weekend and will provide any feedback that I can. I will make final cuts shortly thereafter. I feel bad for having to choose because many designs are so good ... alas only one can win but I do very appreciate your participation and will invite you all to join future projects. You are all very talented and I really like your submissions. We only have a couple days left in the contest and I will lbe making some cuts soon. I am going to start with designs that do not contain a water element or designs that do not easily communicate water .. .Then a i am gong to eliminate logos that do not commnucate a barrier ... of sorts .. That repells water of at least trys to communicate that ... a couple of designs do not have these elements ... and I still like them ... But the likley wilnner is going to be a close variant of the art that I origially submitted or a design that effectively communicates the elements listed above ... Water and barrier ... Thanks very much to all for your excellent work. I have had much interest in the project and am afraid I have not been able to provide you all with a lot of guidance ...This project is coming to a close in just a few hours but I did want to say thank you again ,..you are all very talented and I wish you all the best and congrats to the winner ..who I have not chosen yet.
