Brief de Design de Logo

Logo for a new private catering company based in the UK. I would like a clean, modern, sophisticated word-based design. Staying fairly ambiguous and not specifically foodie. To be used online and on printed material.
I would like a company logo that has a small image that can be used as a stand-alone 'logo' eg: if the dot on the 'i' was the image of a seed, that I could use this seed image as a stand-alone logo.
