Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a logo for Sacramento's newest preschool - Acorn to Oak.
Acorn to Oak will be Sacramento's premier preschool - we're more expensive than our competitors, but you get what you pay for when it comes to child care. Our focus is going to be hands-on play and we'll spend a lot of time outdoors with the children.

Why Acorn to Oak? Sacramento is known as the City of Trees, so the children of Sacramento are the "Acorns" and at our school we're helping them grow into mighty oaks. It also evokes the outdoorsy vibe that we're going for.

Bien d'avoir

• The logo should include an acorn for sure, but I'm neutral about whether it also includes a tree/oak leaf/anything else. I'll use the logo on our website, signage, business cards, staff t-shirts, and more so it must be versatile and look good large and small. I want the logo to look "cool" rather than having it look like every other preschool logo (usually a child's face, or hand print, etc). I also want the logo to look nature-y but modern at the same time. Good luck :)
