Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company based in Norway called "Norsk Bruksgenbank" (a community seed bank). Norsk Bruksgenbank is a cooperative founded by two farmers representing companies engaged in plant genetic diversity, and the Royal Norwegian Society for Development. The aim is to maintain and multiply genetic diversity among and within Norwegian and Nordic varieties in plant genetic material. Whereas the initiative is young, its pre-history is profound, as some of the two founding companies have long experience in conserving, maintaining and developing genetic diversity in grain and vegetables.

A key function is to maintain a structured value chain for Norwegian and Nordic diversity in plant genetic material from national gene banks through the multiplication of seed and to making it accessible for agricultural production, research and breeding. In particular, we focus on varieties that we think might become more important for the market in the future.

We would like to see designs that is clean and simple (not massive). The final design should include and communicate one or several of these aspects: seed, a sprout, plant diversity, food security and survival, life that wants to emerge, sustainable food production, “plants that can withstand changing cultivation conditions - fundamental conditions”. Examples: the earth as a picture, a plant that emerges from asphalt.
