Brief de Design de Logo

Looking to establish a logo for a Camp X Society we are launching. This logo is almost mean to become one side of a challenge coin. I want to make it AROUND a skull and crossbones concept with CAMP X over the top of it ... and Society or SOCIETY below it. The older style logo was the original logo from the 1940's and I would like something off of that BUT would love some creative ideas to perhaps make it look a little more modern... a little more edgy. I don't want it to be "cartoon" like. The mood is serious... possibly reflecting a historical feel.

Would like the Skull and Cross Bones to be in a GOLD or BRASS look while the rest is grey, black or metal in appearance. An example of the gold and feel is on the CXT logo attached.

*I would like it to be placed as a transparent logo. So it can sit on any surface and the background colour can come through if possible.
