Brief de Design de Logo

Create a logo for the new US Squash National Training Center. Formal name of the facility is the 'Arlen Specter US Squash Center'. Depending on the design, we may use: 'Arlen Specter Center' (full name) -or- 'Specter Center' (tbd) as an abbreviated option -or- An acronym- 'ASC' Not compulsory, but we would like to incorporate 'US Squash' into the logo, if possible. Welcome logo designs with and without. Logo will be used in various applications: signage, electronic media, uniforms, retail merchandise, squash tins, etc. Because US Squash is the governing body for the sport in the United States, color pallet is red, white and blue. Designers may wish to reference US Squash website at ussquash.com as well as visit spectercenter.org for more details. I have included the logo we have been using to-date per the uploaded file. Many constituents view the US Squash shield (as included in the attached file) as the brand image for the organization. Others feel it is overused. Welcome designs with and without use of the shield. OVERVIEW: Located just two blocks from Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station in the historic Armory building, the Specter Center will dramatically accelerate US Squash’s progress towards its mission centered around access, community, excellence and sportsmanship. The Specter Center will feature eighteen singles courts—including two all-glass exhibition courts—and two doubles courts, serve as US Squash’s national headquarters, the U.S. Squash Hall of Fame, house a Learning & Innovation Center and offer elite athletes state-of-the-art development resources including a Coaching Excellence Center and coordination with Drexel University’s robust capabilities as a major Division I athletic program. The Specter Center will serve as a model for community engagement, operating in partnership with SquashSmarts, Philadelphia’s award-winning out-of-school squash and education program.
