This is a logo/poster image for a movie title. The movie is a dual timeline 1920s, 1930s Isola di Ponza Italy and 1950s Bronx NY. A teenaged girl dreams of getting out of her poor Bronx neighborhood, mirroring her mothers immigrant past growing up on a small island in Italy. With the odds stacked against them, they struggle to break free from the social, gender and economic cards they have been dealt. This is a drama about the struggles women faced and how their voice was silenced and they were dismissed as nothing more than a Stupid Girl. Movie opens with a teenaged girl in 1920s Italy at the top of the Luica Rosa cliff, where she throws her newborn infant over. The 1950s timeline opens with a teenaged girl sitting on the rooftop of her 5 story apartment building in the Bronx NY with a view of Yankee Stadium.
