Logo needed for logistic base in Sardinia, where divers from all over the world join conservation, documentation and exploration projects in the local caves and gulf. Phreatic zone is anything under the water table and the freshwater aquifer, so underwater cave passages or rock completely saturated with water.
Originally started as Project Baseline (https://projectbaseline.org/) affiliate and needs to create independent image and brand.
Description of the organisation
Phreatic is dedicated to the documentation, study and conservation of groundwater resources, submarine caves and their interaction with the coastal marine environment.
The Mission is:
Promoting knowledge of hypogean environments in relation to the management and enhancement of groundwater resources
Promoting the awareness of importance of earth sciences
Undertaking and promoting data collection initiatives for scientific research and underwater conservation
Providing scientific researchers and other organisations with a network of divers in the field of citizen science projects
Offer diving and cave diving training with an emphasis on team approach and goal oriented activities.
Comprised of a dedicated group of divers, cave explorers, scientific researchers and nature enthusiasts, Phreatic commits to team oriented diving, a sound equipment configuration, standardised gas choices and an identifiable set of procedures for diving.
