Not exactly the same as the logo attached but something similar, is that right?

I mean the logo on the website..

We need a logo that ties Automated Motorized Shades with the parent company's logo Roll-A-Shade. Don't want the logo to be very similar otherwise it will be boring and not distinguish the differences between the companies.

How much percent you want similar to company logo ?

it's hard to say a percentage, just something that ties them together.
