Great brief (probably the best I have seen written here) and thanks for the opportunity. I am a trail runner myself so hopefully I can catch the trail biking/running vibe you need in the logo and stationary.

Please let me know how you feel about the direction I am going in for the logo, the stationary can be developed once the main logo is tied down fully but I like to offer a couple of ideas.
