Brief de Design de Logo

We need a re-branding of our current logo as we want a change. we are an IT company from SE Europe, and specialized for retail Software.
We are looking for a simple but powerful logo.
It must be simple, memorable, timeless, versatile and appropriate-all in one!
When pronauncing our name it is kind of weak so we wont to make this visual part strong and significatnt.
We are willing to move away completely from how it looks so far.
To conclude, simple, but powerful, IT in general, not attached to sub-industry or certain country.
Please see attached document with examples of 2 logo that we like. One is well known-it is Fedex logo and th eother one is copied from web.
