Brief de Design de Logo

Innovative oil and gas equipment and tool manufacturer needing tough-looking logo. Want to communicate industry dominance and strength. Looking for something masculine. The industry is very saturated and looking for something that will stand out and be remembered. I like the idea of using power colors, but am open to just about anything. Not wanting to limit the designer. I think that using a python somewhere in the logo as either a letter or added as a character might be nice. I would rather have a log that's more complex than simple, but don't want to overdo it.
