Keep 'em coming - I'm impressed with the first submissions!  & of course, looking for more - The other owners of the company and I will be teleconferencing this weekend (Sunday evening) to review the logos submitted to date - We'll provide feedback on each design submitted by the time of our review -   Other ideas we'd thought about for the logo concept: there is a movie studio/production company that has a white lighthouse (don't know the name) with a sweeping beam of light across their opening screen at the cinema or on the movie - not completely unrelated to the 3-d scanning concept - also - you can think of scan points as individual points of reflected red or white light - the scanner can produce a point density of serveral point (dots) per square centimeter - millions of points of coverage - I Hope the "technical" side of our business isn't scaring away folks! - take a shot at it - we don't have a preconceived idea on what we want - looking at all options - Listing ideas here that we've had in the past that no one has tackled yet....Thanks!

Great logos so far! - I have posted feedback on some and sent messages to the designers on others - Great tries on conveying the technical side of scanning - as you've seen the scanner shoots individual beams of light and records point positions (hence the red dots people associate with lasers or scanning) - the point clouds are transformed sometimes, but not always.  into 3-d meshes that have a grid or wireframe look to them - My partners and I agree the laser is probably best represented by a red laser vector or lots of red or blue vectors as opposed to a wedge of color - we like the separation of ARGO from SCAN within reason - please keep in mind the logo should be interesting/catchy as you pass a truck with your argoscan logo on it going down the highway.  Very impressed so far - our technical brains don't do logos well.  Keep up the good work.  We have two or three logos that are our favorites so far - we have not divulged which ones so that the originality of submissions continues.  I don't want everyone to focus in too concentrated a manner on one or two ideas that become the focal point of all designs - we're looking at all of your ideas.  More original ideas are always welcome.  Thanks! 

Two days left to go! - Lots of good, VERY original ideas! - I will be reviewing the logos submitted (to date) this evening with the other principals in the company - we hope to get back to you with some final comments tomorrow -  Due to the large number of logos submitted we will not be able to comment on all designs, but we will comment on or message the top five or so designs/designers - More are always welcome!   Thanks!

Thanks to all the designers who participated !!  We will be reviewing the final logo designs this weekend and selecting the winner.  Great job everyone - you came up with ideas that we certainly hadn't thought of!
