Brief de Design de Logo

Help us Do Good Work!

We need a logo design for a new company called Modern Agora based in Toronto Canada. We are a social purpose business and our tagline is "Do Good. We'll Help."

We have a variety of clients from traditional ones like the Federal Government to more innovative ones. Our work includes traditional consulting in untraditional ways, workshops & training, and we are developing new business models for the nonprofit sector. Our goal is to bring all sectors together to work in innovative ways to achieve more impact in the nonprofit sector.

Our Name:
In Ancient Greece, the agora - meaning meeting place - was the heart of the city, where ordinary citizens bought and sold goods, politics were discussed and ideas and philosophies were passed among great minds. The agora was the hub of civilization, saw heavy traffic every day of the week and was where much business and exchange was done in a casual setting. The conversations that took place at the agora and the ideas that developed continue to affect us to this day. The agora, however, was not accessible or inclusive of everyone. Women were not allowed to attend the agora so we choose to see our "meeting place" as a modern version of a traditional idea.

We use a variety of creative and innovative tools when working with our clients and really focus on having fun while doing good work. We use an approach called Gamestorming which uses games to release people's creativity in a lot of our work.
