Brief de Design de Couverture de Livre

I am starting a new book series and am looking for someone to work with over an extended period of time. I will need both e-book and print covers. (This assignment is for the first two books, with more coming soon!) This is a Cozy Mystery Series (a lighter approach to murder and mayhem) with a companion Romance Series. I want both series to have a similar look but a distinguishable difference-- perhaps the dominate color, etc. For the romance, a blue background is a must. While I want each book to be unique, I want all covers easily recognizable as part of the series, so it needs some element of consistency. I will provide the logo. The setting is Texas General Hospital and all stories will tie into the medical field, primarily nursing. Exigences

Doit avoir

• Must show well in thumbnail view
• Relate to medical field / hospital
• Similar element to tie the series together. My thought was to have the same partial hospital image in the background, with a unique focal image dominating each cover.

Bien d'avoir

• Some element of a blue background for the romance -- perhaps the sky; not the entire book!
• Note: The Murder by Monte Carlo is a hit and run by a '75 blue Monte Carlo car; not necessary to have, but may be useful

Ne doit pas comporter

• If covers include models, I prefer back or side views/ vague imagines. No faces close-ups.
• Nothing steamy for the romance-- these are 'clean' love stories. Should look sweet, not comical.
