Brief de Design de Logo
Aloha!
I am working with a client who owns the Poipu Shopping Village. We are looking to reposition the property by giving it a fresh new look. We are starting with the Logo and will eventually include a new website and a remodel of the center. You can see the existing logo and website by visiting: http://poipushoppingvillage.com/
We'd like the new logo to use the MonkeyPod tree as inspiration. I'm attaching a photo that we found of a beautiful full specimen of the tree. The photo is copy write material of a local photographer so we can't use that exact image (unless/until she writes me back granting permission), but we'd like you to use it as inspiration for a new logo. Our initial thought was to get permission from the photographer and then eliminate the background and foreground, essentially isolating just the tree.
We would like the final product to be in png format without a background, so it can be used in marketing materials and so the color can change easily depending on what the color scheme is of the marketing material. In addition, we should have 3 files as the final product: just the logo, just the text and the last image should be the logo with the text.

The property services a very upscale tourist who vacations in the Poipu / South Shore area of Kauai. The average hotel rate is over $250/night and it isn't uncommon for that to be closer to $350-$500/night. Often times the visitors are multi-generational, with grandparents and parents of young children staying in timeshare or 2-3 bedroom vacation rentals. Finally, a majority of the visitors are from the West Coast of the US - ie, California, Oregon Washington and Arizona.
