Brief de Design de Logo

I am updating the branding for a Christian-based psychological private practice that has been in business for over 20 years in the Denver metro area of Colorado. The name of the practice is New Beginnings Psychological Resources, P.C. The practice provides outpatient psychotherapy services for various types of people with various life difficulties. I need to be able to use the new logo to have my existing web host update my website as well as needing to be able to get business cards, letterhead, etc. printed. I would prefer not to have oranges or yellows as predominant colors but I am open to most other colors. I would like any Christian reference to be subtle and tasteful, nothing that smacks you in the face. I am open to ideas that do not include a clearly Christian reference. I'd like the final design to communicate hope, safety, and perhaps something that hints of new beginnings.
