Brief de Design de Logo

I design and build a lot of things in my spare time. Over the years I've accumulated a lot of skills (and tools) and the people around me associate me with my DIY projects. I don't sell anything I make. I just build things for myself and my friends. That said, people have begun to ask if things I make are "Swannerbuilt" (Swanner is my last name) and I have started to embrace the term. I'm looking for a logo that incorporates the term as well as a swan, which has become my unofficial mascot. In my head, I can loosely picture the name "Swannerbuilt" in some kind of font or script with a stylized swan in place of the letter "S". That said, if the logo is comprised of something complex and delicate like a script, I will also need a simplified version of the logo that is perhaps just the "swan S" for when I need to apply the logo as a stamp on metal, or stitch it in fabric, or other cases where it would be too difficult to use "Swannerbuilt"spelled out. I am a guy, and most of my work is somewhat industrial in nature so I would like something more masculine if possible (though I recognize that a swan is not exactly synonymous with masculinity). I'm generally fond of logos that are very simple, to the point of implying meaning or significance without actually stating it. Ideally, the logo would work black and white as well as color so if there are colors, they should not be integral to the design.
