Brief de Design de Logo

Update:
Some designs I've seen coming through are overcomplicated & wouldn't be any use if reduced in size for printing say on a T shirt pocket or a baseball hat.
Also - some have had the word NORTH written larger than the word SHORE. This makes it look like the brand is simply NORTH rather than NORTH SHORE.
Lastly - this brand won't be about swaying palm trees & sunny beaches - it's more of a hardcore surf brand so designs that reflected that look will be most successful.

I'm looking for a logo design for a new surfwear brand.

This is a project I've been wanting to get to for years but the timing hasn't been right until now.

The logo needs to be clean, uncluttered & easily read (& recognised).

Colourwise, I'm thinking maybe at most, black, white & red but I'm open to suggestions.

For inspiration, it's probably worth checking out logos of market leaders such as Quiksilver, O'Neill, Billabong, Rip Curl, Da Kine etc.

Not too keen on the use of surfboards in the logo but graphic waves could be good.

The words 'North Shore' must be of equal size (to each other) and more prominent than 'surfwear'
