Brief de Design de Logo

For my new consulting firm Craft Consult. As a management consultant I prefer to work on complex projects on the intersection of business and IT. I speak both "languages". Which makes me a valuable sparringpartner for business and IT people. I make business and IT work (together).

Focus on people and technique. Get people (individuals, teams) in the right direction, create focus, get to the core. Align departments, connect people (with different backgrounds, specialties) and able to analyse complex situations easily, get things done.

Personal background:I have a big passion for woodworking, traveling, interested in cultures and running. More background of my working history:https://www.linkedin.com/in/rickwesterhof/(is not updated yet, while I start my company on July 1st.

I would like to challenge you to come up with something surprising. Feel free to design and surprise me.

NOTE: the example is not suitable to be used as favicon or as logo without text. (the picture on the left in the logo is not selfclarifying when I would use the picture.

• i would like to have a logo for use on website, letter and business cards. When an icon is used it should be selfclarifying or at least it has to be explainable (regarding my background and what my value is). I want to be able to tell a (personal) story around the logo. The reason why I choose for Craft Consult is because I believe that craftsmenship is only possible when you are passioned, disciplined and willing to deliver the best.

Bien d'avoir

• a nod to woodworking, another passion of mine. (but not directly related to it, so for instance not a saw or a tree, but then something with a twist it might be explained as) So it is not a must have, it is absolutely not a showstopper if the design does not have wink to it.
• a logo what can be used with or without pay off (e.g. make business and it work).
