Brief de Design de Logo

As a gift for my Dad I want to create a name/logo for his new sailboat, combining the boat name with a mermaid.
The name will appear on the stern (back) of the boat and on the sail. Thus it should be black/white. We like a simple, clean look (we tried to mock up in the name in a simple sans serif all caps font, but are open to suggestions) since you also need to see it from far away.
Ideally the name MERMAIDEN II appears with a mermaid behind it or on it, or similar.
The mermaid should be clean and simple, potentially with some white space/cutouts, and not be a naughty one with big boobs or anything like that. Tasteful, simple, classic and sporty.
