Brief de Design de Logo

New gear review site that needs a logo. We are US military veteran owned and operated. We get samples of new outdoor gear, test and evaluate them, and post a detailed review. Gear typically includes, tactical, camping, hiking, shooting, survival, skiing, 4x4, etc. We'll also have some lifestyles items like watches, clothing, grooming, drinks, drink wear, etc. Basically guy stuff. We're Looking for a simple modern design for use on our new website, business cards and shirts. We don't have any color restraints. This was the website we used to manage. www.loadoutroom.com. Now we will be competing with them. We used to get some negative feedback on the logo due to the firearms. Looking for something a little friendlier but still masculine and strong.
