Correction: normal length hair on girl. The girl Dawn Brown passed away, and her best friend (her dog) was left behind. You can maybe try and incorporate her hugging the dog in some fashion. The image should be sincere, heartfelt. Not sexy, or looking like she is taking the dog for a walk. Please include a wheat sheaf into the image. We probably do not need to see the whole picture of a girl hugging, just part of it. We are open to other ideas outside of hugging. Please use original artwork, not clipart images.

Hi Kathy, we don’t need the logo to specifically be a girl and dog. We don’t want it to look like an award for a ‘Best in Show’ dog competition. We want the Logo to be symbolic of Dawn. She was in her 20’s, from the Prairies in Canada, she died tragically, she worked in the sports (hockey), and when she passed away, her dog was left behind. She had no kids. Had a family. Her mom and dad have her dog now. She was a wonderful, selfless, and caring person. She was also a blood donor. The logo does not need to be overly complicated. The more simple the better. We will have her name beside the logo. The logo is just to be complimentary of the name of the award itself. I would prefer not to share a photo of her for privacy reasons. The award is 15” high, x 3” x3”. Think of a tube of Pringles chips. Except square. A wheat sheath or some grains of wheat will be important to have in the design. We have seen some design come in of a girl walking a dog. That is not what we are looking for. The dog shouldn’t be the prominent point of the award. It wouldn’t be a secondary or complimentary aspect. Please feel free to ask more questions if need d. Thank you.
